Our Gemini Dual Containment Tanks, also known as Double Wall Tanks, are rated for a wide range of chemical applications.

Gemini Dual Containment Tanks are durable, heavy-duty and are unaffected by the ultra-violet rays of the sun or other environmental conditions, which makes them perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

The Gemini “Tank-in-a-Tank” design provides you with a perfect solution for storage and dispensing of your chemicals into your processes, with standard features like the pump mounting platform, overflow dikes, vented lid and threaded fittings, which offer years of trouble-free and maintenance free service.

A large selection of standard accessories like suction tubes and level indicators compliment your tank for a complete, engineered dual containment tank solution. All of Peabody’s Gemini Dual Containment Tanks meet or exceed secondary containment requirements under EPA’s 49 CFR Regulations.

• All Peabody Gemini tanks made from Linear Polyethylene (LPE) Standard Duty (SD) 1.5 and Heavy Duty (HD) 1.9 are available ALS-Truesdail NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certified.
• Larger Gemini Plus 1300 Gallon.
• All Peabody Gemini tanks made from XLPE 40 gallons and up are available ALSTruesdail NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certified.
• Linear Polyethylene (LPE) construction. Polypropylene (PPL), XLPE and PVDF available - Superior chemical resistance for acids, caustics, sodium hypochlorite, biocides, etc. Handles aggressive applications that stainless steel will not. PPL and PVDF Tanks of all sizes are Not Certified NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
• Durable dual wall construction - Standard tanks rated 1.5 SPG, 1.9 SPG heavy duty available. “Tank in a Tank” design for instances where primary tank fails, the chemical will be safely contained in secondary tank.
• NEW Standard secondary tank leak detection port - for optional leak detection alarm.
• Integral pump mounting platform - Lid has 240 pound rating allowing for use with metering pump or mixer mounted directly to tank dome. Models with sump reservoir collects and drains liquid back to primary.
• Pump pick-up tube port - Install pump suction line with check valve quickly and easily. Once installed, tank contents are sealed from outside environment.
• Integral mouse door - Molded directly into most Gemini models, recessed mouse door allows for inexpensive installation of optional bottom bulkhead fitting for flooded suction connection or bottom fill.
• Custom colors and mold-in graphics - Custom colors available, subject to minimum order quantity. Private label mold-in graphic is molded directly into tank and won’t weather, crack, peel, or deteriorate.
• All of our tanks meet or exceed the EPA’s requirements for secondary containment under 49-CFR.
